Celebrating Independence Day weekend with true icons, Crosby, Stills and Nash, who returned once again to the legendary 1969 Woodstock festival site–Originally appearing almost 47 years ago, to play the trio’s classic hits and new songs.  Not only were these gentlemen influential in their music; but were political activities promoting peace in the world–a cause that was endearing to the times. Over the years, each member has been recognized individually as solo artists and as a group for their accomplishments and been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Now, live at Bethel Woods, David Crosby, Stephen Stills and Graham Nash share their opening song “Will you Survive”, followed by “Marrakesh Express”.  Sharing a bit of history, Stephen Stills introduced a song written in 1977 and a $500 bet to Graham Nash challenging him to write a new song before leaving Hawaii for their concert tour.  To his surprise, Graham Nash wrote “Just A song Before I Go,” in 20 minutes! Followed by 700 more songs in his career!  Great anticipation was displayed by the fans as they listened to old time favorites, and brand new songs, solos by Graham Nash and Stephen Stills, and David Crosby.   A career that spanned from the Vietnam War to today, with the infamous protest albums and chanting of “No More War”, CSN wrote and producing 900 songs between four artist, (Including Neal Young), leaving their viewpoints and footprint on the world for their unique influence on generations of musicians and fans.Under the turmoil, threats of terrorism and war going on in our world today, we can only hope the world continues to listen to their music, hear their message and influence peace.In response to their show, additional tour dates were added to CSN’s present 2014 concert tour.  If you want to relive a time and listen to some of the most influential musical and political messages of history you don’t want to miss this show!
